Infinity War is coming closer and closer day by day. We have waited to see this movie come to life for years, and ever since it was announced, the fans have wanted to see Thanos and the Avengers assembled to take him on. It will be the greatest character ensemble ever seen on the big screen and it will interweave all the stories told in the last 10 years, starting from Iron Man itself in 2008 when it all began. According to reports, we will see 35 of our beloved Marvel superheroes sharing screen space in Infinity War and 67 comic book characters in total.
This is totally unprecedented and historic. Since the build-up to this movie has been so fantastic, the anticipation for the movie is huge and this movie is expected to literally break the box office, and blow the minds of all the fans and critics at the same time.
The marketing of the movie is gearing up now, as we get new toys, posters, concept arts and merchandise every day. Fans have been waiting for the Final Story trailer to be released for a long time, as it will give us the look into the story of the movie, and attract more people into the movie.
Infinity War has been running on only hype till now as we have not got much of the actual footage from the movie. We got to see just one trailer and one 30 second TV Spot, and the upcoming trailer for the movie will really kick off the marketing of the movie. It is expected to hit the internet until this weekend, along with ‘A Wrinkle in time’.
But still, we did see some of the visuals in the first official trailer that broke the all-time record for the maximum number of online views in the first 24 hours of its release on the internet. For the first time, we witnessed Thanos along with his Black Order landing on Earth to retrieve the Infinity gems and assemble the all-powerful Infinity gauntlet which grants the wielder unlimited, God-like powers as he gains control of all the forces of the universe.
The five Infinity stones namely Space Stone, Power stone, Reality stone, Mind stone, Time stone have been located but the last remaining Soul stone is yet to be found. The speculation is it is likely hidden in the Kingdom of Wakanda under the protection of Black Panther but there was no easter-egg in the Black Panther solo movie.
Well, in the last three days, we got quite a lot of stuff to see for the movie. New individual posters for 18 Avengers have been released. The overall Poster includes 5 original members of the Avengers, Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Thor and Black Widow. It also includes the new Avengers, Scarlett Witch, Vision, Falcon and War Machine. We can see two future Avengers, the Winter Soldier, and Spider-Man, and all the 6 Guardians, Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Mantis, Groot and Rocket also have their individual character posters.
New character bios were released for 6 big characters in the movie. Thanos’ character bio gave us a hint at the motivations of the Mad Titan as we do not know much about him till now, and this bio does tell what he will be doing in the movie. It matches with the Russos description of the movie i.e it is much like a heist movie with heist like energy as Thanos will launch an all-out assault to collect Infinity gems whatever it takes and steal them one by one to become the ultimate ruler of the cosmos.
These Infinity stones or cosmic singularities as ‘The Collector’ puts it are powerful enough individually but collectively they make you invincible. One can literally alter the timelines, mess with the soul of the person, reshape entire worlds and open interstellar portals across dimensions.
Captain America’s bio almost confirmed that we will be getting a version of the Secret Avengers in the movie. Spider-Man’s bio confirmed the Iron Spider suit and it also confirmed Spidey’s trademark power, Spider-Sense to show up in the movie. We also got Story arcs for Thor, Black Widow, and the Hulk.
Now there is more stuff to focus at as a brand new image of Captain America and his allies ready for War has been released. The image includes Captain America (Nomad), Black Widow, Black Panther and The Winter Soldier standing along with Dora Milaje, and the people of the Border tribe of Wakanda. This image seems to be right before the War begins. We can see Team Cap and it does connect with the secret Avengers storyline as well.
As revealed in the Infinity War prelude comic, Black Widow, Falcon and Cap have been on covert mission in the Middle Eastern countries. They probably united with T’Challa when we saw Cap and Nat walking in a lab after supposedly saving Vision from Corvus Glaive. And now, all of them have united for the war against the Outriders.
There is not much peculiar to notice here, but we can see that Cap does not have the two new Shield Gauntlets that Shuri gave him. So he will be wearing them later on as the fight begins. Along with that, we can see that Bucky’s supposed Vibranium Arm has a bit of Gold in it as well which is assumed to be the Gold Vibranium as mentioned in earlier articles.

Avengers Infinity War will open into the theaters worldwide on April 27, 2018. It is directed by Russo brothers and produced by Marvel President Kevin Feige. There are a number of executive producers including chief architect of Marvel comics Stan Lee, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo etc. The screenplay has been written by an amazing duo – Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
Can the Earth’s mightiest heroes ‘The Avengers’ be able to stand a chance against Mad Titan and his armies? Will the alliance between Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy be enough to put up a valiant fight against Thanos and Black Order? Can they really stop Infinity stones from falling into their hands?
