The Secret Behind The Matrix Code Has Finally Been Revealed!

Keanu Reeves is truly the chosen one. He is Thomas Anderson aka Neo. He is fighting for a better world. He is a humanist. He is the most humble and kind gentleman in the world of entertainment. He loves to spend time with his fans, take pictures with them. He is also a musician par-excellence and a great actor. The Matrix starring Keanu Reeves was released in the year 1999 and became a huge box-office success.

The movie Matrix is written and directed by The Wachowski Brothers. The audience response was fabulous and the movie is considered as one of the best science fiction thrillers ever made. It not only got Keany Reeves an Oscar in the “Best Actor” category but it revolutionized the way movies are made in so many unique ways. Infact, so many flicks have tried to copy what Matrix achieved but they are’nt even 1% of what the original movie managed to accomplish.

One of the most unique elements present in the movie is the matrix code itself comprising of constant stream of neon green icons vertically running down the black screen. Well, the designer and creator of the code Simon Whiteley revealed that they were based on Japanese food recipes and without them there is no matrix. He tasted success in movie business in the year 1995 for his work in opening sequence of the movie “Babe”. The most shocking part is that Simon never got credit for his designs in ‘The Matrix’.

Matrix is a fake reality and the real world is ruled by machines created by human beings. Neo was trapped in it and has been living in it from his birth. Morpheus is the member of the group (rebels) who has the ability to hack The Matrix and saves them from enslavement and recruits them as rebels. They possess superhuman abilities with which they could break the physical laws. When Neo learns about the world he is living in which is colonized by machines, he decides to enter “the real world” of Matrix where he meets ‘Agent Smith’ who is programmed to safeguard the code at all costs.

The sequel, The Matrix Reloaded was released in the year 2003. The movie got favorable reviews from the critics and general audience even though the film lacked the thrill and enthusiasm given by its predecessor. It did well at the box-office but fell below expectations. The same year, the third installment in the franchise was released and it was named as The Matrix Revolutions. But the movie was a total chaos which offered nothing other than disappointment. The movie was heavily panned by the critics and even the hardcore fans were not satisfied. The box-office performance was also poor. But nonetheless the Matrix trilogy is still considered to be one of the most important works in the sci-fi genre.

It has been about long 17 years after the release of The Matrix and the way the trilogy ended was also not satisfactory. So, are there any possibilities for a fourth part? Joel Silver who was the executive producer of Matrix recently said that they haven’t planned anything about it so far as the franchise was originally designed as three stories and it ended with the third part. He also said to wait and see what happens in the future. So it is clear from Joel Silver’s words that even though the world of Neo ended with the third part, there is still a possibility for a fourth part.

Recently, Keanu Reeves appeared at NYCC to promote his movie Replicas. He was asked about the fourth part of Matrix series. He said: “Remaking The Matrix. I don’t know. Maybe it’s…I don’t know anything about it.”

The news broke that the studio is thinking of assembling a team of writers to work on the project but no concrete details are out. But now we are hearing that Zak Penn (The Avengers, Ready Player One) is entrusted with the task of coming up with the script. He has assured that the script he is working on is not a reboot and it won’t wipe out the existing timeline. Instead, it is actually a prequel with actor Michael B. Jordan (Creed) being looked at for the role of young Morpheus. Well, we will keep you updated if we hear something. CHEERS!
