Thanos will make his biggest impression in Avengers: Infinity War. The Marvel villain has made his presence known from the first Phase and has slowly been creating a presence with each new Phase. Infinity War will finally see the Titan king in all his glorious presence but he won’t be appearing alone.
We had reported earlier that his crew from the comics called The Black Order will also be making an appearance in Marvel’s biggest film. Corvus, Nox, Ican, Proxima, and Ebony made up the supervillain team known as The Black Order.
The team was a part of the Infinity Gauntlet comics, giving Thanos advice and helping him to conquer entire planets and solar systems.
Kong: Skull Island actor Terry Notary recently confessed to The Hollywood Reporter that he’s actually portraying a henchman and right-hand man to Thanos during the events of Infinity War. Notary explained:
“I’m working on four characters right now. I’m working with Josh Brolin and three other actors [in Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War], and I’m playing Josh Brolin’s right hand bad guy in the film. I can’t say the name of the character or I think Marvel will sever my head, but I apply those same principals of what it means to drop bullshit and just play a character truly evil. And it’s working. [Laughs] It’s truly working.”
Since Terry is quite the expert when it comes to CGI effects, he could be playing anyone from Corvus Glaive to Black Dwarf.
The actor had recently played the CGI physical work of Kong in Skull Island which, let’s face it seems to only showcase that he is a very talented actor. Peter Dinklage had once been speculated to be playing The Ebony Maw but that has yet to be a confirmation from Marvel Cinematic Universe. Whatever part Notary might be playing, he definitely gave the proof that Thanos will have his devoted crew when he takes on the Avengers.
