Vin Diesel Says ‘Guardians of The Galaxy’ Will Appear In ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

Vin Diesel has confirmed that Guardians of The Galaxy will definitely appear in Avengers: Infinity War. The 49-year old actor, who voices Groot, confirmed the new update in a Facebook live video which aired on Friday, August 19.

“Next year you’ve got Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 coming and that … started by you all saying, ‘When are you gonna be in a Marvel movie?’” he said in the video.

“And you remember the first picture after that Marvel meeting that I had where I was standing [with] the Avengers thing in the back, some of you can look up that picture, there was this old Avengers copy that was behind me in that picture. If you look back on my Facebook page you can find that,” he added.


In a 27-minute long video, Vin Diesel not only broke the news about the Marvel Cinematic Universe but he, in a way expressed his token of thanks for having over 100 million fans on Facebook. He unboxes his trophy sent by Facebook, celebrating the whooping support by fans. He appreciates his fans for supporting him in his film career, also mentioning about the Guardians of Galaxy.

“That whole concept started from you all saying, ‘When are you going to be in a Marvel movie?’” Diesel said.

The actor didn’t open up about the details of the film and how characters are going to be. But we hope it is going to be really interesting and worthwhile than Captain America or Iron Man. As reported by Variety, the Guardians of Galaxy casts include Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper and Dave Bautista.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will release on May 5, 2017, and Avengers: Infinity War is set for release on May 4, 2018.

Diesel recently came into light with actor Dwyane Johnson over an Instagram post shared by Johnson regarding the on-set feud with him.
