Jurassic Park 4 Concept Art Shows Raptor Human Hybrid

When Jurassic Park arrived way back in 1993 it sparked the imagination of the entire generation with its state of the art special effects that carried John Hammond’s prehistoric utopia to life in astonishing detail.

Jurassic Park franchise has been very dear to Steven Spielberg, with the first release in 2001 Spielberg has been insisting on its creators to hit the drawing boards for more ideas. Ever since the concept art came to be, Spielberg wanted to explore the idea of a fully operational Jurassic Park, which ultimately came to be as Jurassic World and we know what a huge success it has been in the box office last year.

The originally abandoned version of Jurassic Park 4 was recently shared by Carlos Huante on June 11, on his Instagram account which showed pictures of human-raptor hybrid. Carlos has been working with director Joe Johnston and it took him 14 years to a sequel of Jurassic Park which we now know as Jurassic World.

These 14-year-old failed images revealed the “Raptorman” as he calls them. The Raptorman is a crossbreed between human and dinosaur. “Here’s an image from an approximately 14-year-old, failed version of Jp4…,” Carlos captioned on one of the pictures.

John Sayles and William Monahan the scribes for the project, originally wanted to incorporate these Raptorman in “Jurassic Park 4” released in 2001, which were genetically modified human-raptor creatures that were created by a corporation to be mercenaries that are supposed to altercate the rogue dinosaurs dominating the region of North America. Instead, this project was cancelled.

It was in 2012 that new script writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes) were hired, with Colin Trevorrow as the director. Their storyline introduced as Jurassic World, built on the remains of the original park on Isla Nubar. The movie released on June 12, 2015, starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and Jake Johnson as the protagonists. The main dinosaur being Indominus Rex, a genetically-enhanced hybrid of Tyrannosaurus rex and several other species.

“The Jurassic World theme park lets guests experience the thrill of witnessing actual dinosaurs, but something ferocious lurks behind the park’s attractions – a genetically modified dinosaur with savage capabilities. When the massive creature escapes, chaos erupts across the island. Now it’s up to Owen and Claire to save the park’s tourists from an all-out prehistoric assault.”

There are a lot of talks going around for Jurassic World 2 which is expected to release in 2018, wherein the creators are trying to explore the very idea of military applications for dinosaurs. The movie would be directed by Juan Antonio Bayona (of The Impossible fame).
