Dangal

Dangal is an upcoming  Indian biographical sports  drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film is produced by Disney Studio India. The film stars Aamir Khan portraying the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat taught wrestling to his daughters  Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat. Geeta Phogat was India’s first female wrestler to win at the  2010 Commonwealth Games, where she won the gold medal (55kg) while her sister Babita Kumari won the silver. Dangal is the native name of a wrestling site in Hindi which is popular in India. It has also regional names like Kusti and Pehelwani in India. Dangal is scheduled to release on 23 December 2016. The music for Dangal will be composed by Pritam while lyrics will be written by  Amitabh Bhattacharya.
In our society, especially in backward areas, most families want a son to carry forward their legacy and if they end up with daughters, very few give them equal opportunities. But Phogat, who hails from Balali village near Bhiwani in Haryana, encouraged all his four daughters to become wrestlers. Out of his four daughters, two – Geeta and Babita – won gold and silver at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, respectively. The film will also focus on how he coached them personally against all odds ignoring people who made fun of him for preparing his daughters to become wrestlers. What is most astonishing is that he never gave up and proved that if given equal opportunity, daughters are no less than sons.
—Nitesh Tiwari, director of Dangal, in Hindustan interview.

All three movies are gonna keep the critics in check. It’ll be worth noticing if any of the movies touch the 1000cr mark.
