4 Things About Titli That Make it the Best Movie Of the Year

Titli is the latest installment of YRF and Dibakar Banerjee Production collaboration. Directed by debutant Kanu Behl this movie is not only doing well at the box office but has also garnered positive reviews from critics. Here is a list of four points which make it the best movie of the year.

  • The Realistic Treatment

The movie is a real picture of the under belly of Delhi. It depicts each and every aspect of the raw, violent, orthodox lifestyle of Delhi. Not even once the movie seems unreal. The best thing about the movie is it’s this realistic treatment. Any Delhi resident will directly get attached to all the characters and incidents. This is a winner for the writers Kanu Behl and Sharat Katariya.

The storyline of the film is simple yet weird and still you love it. You have hardly seen anyone letting his wife meet her boyfriend in return of money. But Titli is comfortable in doing so because he has a dream to be fulfilled i.e. to buy a garage in a upcoming mall. The biggest master stroke is the underlying message on arrange marriage. From the characters to their actions everything is so real and engaging.

Not just Ranveer Shorey deliver a good performance the lead Shashank Arora too does a fantastic job. It is not easy to portray such a layered character in your debut, but Arora does it in style. And not just he the entire cast is perfect. From Shivani Raghuvanshi to Lalit Behl and Amit Sial everyone is terrific. The actors deliver a fine performance to make the movie one of the best in the running year.

Kudos to the makers of the movie. When Bollywood is busy making masala movies YRF and Dibakar Banerjee take a brave step to produce this movie. Such type of dark and gritty movie is not so often seen blessed by leading production house.

This is a major reason behind the movie to be good. A good producer can do whole lot of good for a movie. And especially if it is one of the oldest and reputed production houses of bollywood then it is obviously a big reason.
