HBO MAX Release Date:
We live in an era where streaming services will soon thrive. People appreciate good quality content being easily accessible to them. While theatrical releases will never die unless there’s a pandemic that shuts down everything, every studio still wants in on the streaming service game. Netflix has become a streaming giant over the years and Disney+ has done extremely well for itself ever since it was launched. Now, WB is getting in the game with their streaming service, HBO Max.
May 2020 was the originally planned release month for HBO Max, and now we have confirmation that it will be live from May 27. The streaming service will cost its subscribers $14.99 per month and it will add WB & HBO’s entire catalogue. Popular shows like Westworld, Game of Thrones, Watchmen, Friends, The Big Bang Theory, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air will all be available for people to stream readily whenever they want. The exclusive shows from DC Universe like Titans, Doom Patrol, Young Justice & Swamp Thing will be available. All of WB films, the content from Cartoon Network, TBS and TNT will also be available.
If this isn’t enough, then there’s even more reason for people to get excited because Warner Media is bringing us 3 exclusive shows from JJ Abrams – DC’s Justice League Dark, Overlook & Duster will arrive on HBO Max. We could also expect 2021 to bring us a big budget Green Lantern TV show from the Arrowverse producer Greg Berlanti. This series will involve 2 Green Lanterns and the villain is going to be Sinestro. Then there’s the Friends Reunion event that has also been confirmed. People are also hopeful that WB would greenlight the Snyder Cut of Justice League for HBO Max. There’s over 10,000 hours of content that HBO Max will offer us right from the beginning, and that number is only going to grow with more exclusive shows & films.
