Avengers 4: Karen Gillan May Have Accidentally Revealed a Massive Spoiler
Avengers: Infinity War was a mammoth undertaking which was bound to create Box-office history, but it’s literally stolen senses of millions of MCU fans as it departed from the standard template of a fun, light-hearted adventure movie without any real stakes, instead it was much darker in its tone.
The ending of ‘Infinity War’ was a massive cliff-hanger which set our tongues wagging as we were stunned into silence. Avengers 4 will pick up the pieces and bring a logical culmination to this epic saga spanning 22 MCU films. But it’s next to impossible to even get a hint of the possible plot as Marvel maintains a cloud of secrecy around the project.
So, instead of trying to extract information from MCU stars, the entertainment reporters are going through some of the interviews that the actors gave in the run up to Infinity War. And they may have found something big. Karen Gillan aka Nebula gave an interview to Fandango and here’s what she said:
“I know who her new BFF is, and I can’t tell you. I can’t. I promise you it’s brilliant and unexpected and just so good…I don’t know about any frenemies. She is on a clear mission, as everybody is, to deal with someone with a glove, and I think that is the most important issue. So I think people are grouping together to take care of this task.”
One of the surviving members of Thanos Snap was Nebula and the others include the original six Avengers and Rocket Raccoon. So with whom will Nebula team-up in Avengers 4? Well, Nebula and Tony will be least expected but they got to work together to reach Earth and work with the remaining Avengers to defeat Thanos.
Another possibility includes her teaming up with Black Widow or Okoye or Valkyrie who will return in Avengers 4. But there is another female character who survived the snap i.e Shuri who might find Nebula’s Cyborg nature fascinating and build awesome upgrades for her.
“I feel like with Avengers 4, because it was made before there was any response to Avengers 3, it’s really pure in that regard. The storytelling is very pure. It’s without any sort of external noise creeping in at,” Joe Russo told Deadline during SDCC 2018.
“We’ve been in post-production on [Avengers 4] since the release of Infinity War and we’ve got some additional photography that we’re doing in a month or so.”
“You know, we’re very proud of it. I think ultimately Avengers 4 may be our best work for Marvel. I think we’ve grown with every movie that we’ve made there. We’ve grown with the characters. We’ve grown with the cast. As filmmakers we’re very happy and very excited with the movie.”
The ensemble cast of Avengers 4 is breathtakingly awesome as some of the biggest stars have been brought by Marvel including Josh Brolin (Thanos), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Bradley Cooper (Rocket Raccoon), Vin Diesel (Groot), Jeremy Reiner (Hawkeye), Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr. Strange), Benedict Wong (Wong), Tom Holland (Spiderman), Letitia Wright (Shuri), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlett Witch), Karen Gillian (Nebula), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Dave Bautista (Drax), Paul Bettany (Vision).
Avengers: Infinity War has become the highest grossing comic-book movie ever with earnings over $2 Billion worldwide, it’s accessible on digital platforms, DVD/Blu Ray is also available in stores.
Avengers 4 is the most anticipated superhero movie of 2018, the detailed movie synopsis is yet to be released, but an official entertainment magazine has put out plot description:
“A culmination of 22 interconnected films, the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.”
