I truly believe that everything that we do and everyone that we meet is put in our path for a purpose. There are no accidents; we’re all teachers – if we’re willing to pay attention to the lessons we learn, trust our positive instincts and not be afraid to take risks or wait for some miracle to come knocking at our door.
“Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly”
– Robert. F.Kennedy
We often learn the best lessons of our lives through our failures. When we fall we learn to brush aside our bruises and move on. If we are trying to achieve something difficult we will fail. Often people laugh at our ridiculous dreams, But it is important that we realize how lucky we are to have these failures in our lives. Can you imagine how tasteless our life will become if we only and only succeed? We will never want to achieve anything new for it will cease to bring us any new thrill. Failures make our successes so special. So lets thank our failures and get ready to achieve what we want.
“Anyone who says they have only one life to live must not know how to read a book.”
Back in my childhood I would read a book on my swing with a walkman in my hand. I would sleep on my book when I got tired. After getting up I would restart my journey from where I had left it. A book takes us through the journey of a different world, opens us to the pain and joy of others, teaches us how to feel for others and more often than not gets us the best friend of our lives. So read to your heart’s content. Read all you can. Books never ditch us It teches us how to be a someone…. A someone with a heart.
Are you in some serious mess ? Well what are friends for ? From childhood fights to relationship issues, friends are like the pillar of strength that we have by us. They teach us that no matter what they have our back.
From our first pocket money to a pat on our back for our achievements, sisters have their own ways to make their presence felt. They are soft when they need to be but end up being tougher than our mothers when it comes to be strict. They teach us more life lessons than any school. They are there to catch us when we fall, or provide us pocket money when we need to party….. but they also don’t step back from giving us a piece of their mind when we go wrong.
Life is a message which needs to be understood. Each step, each failure , each success has a meaning, something that needs to be discerned, and in this adventure we call life we have the priviledge to be who we are. It is normal to have moments of doubt, but in all this mess and confusion ,life teaches us to embrace ourselves with all our imperfections and faults.
So this Teachers’ Day it is time to appreciate what we have in life and be thankful for it.
