After contributing so much to the creation and development of Marvel’s most iconic superheroes like Iron Man, Captain America and the Hulk, Stan Lee had become somewhat of a God within the comic book circles. So when the news of his death came, the fans were visibly worried. The Marvel Cinematic Universe had popularised the concept of one shot cameo appearances by Stan Lee. He had appeared in all the MCU movies till date.

Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios has confirmed that Stan Lee will appear in a cameo appearance well beyond Avengers: Endgame. The last time Stan Lee made a cameo appearance in a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie was in Captain Marvel. The movie had to adapt old footage of Stan Lee, which was a clear reference to the 1990’s Mallrats movie. Moreover, there was a long tribute to the guy right before the movie began. Stan Lee’s shadow is yet to leave the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

But what we would like to know is that if Stan Lee would be coming back as a CGI generated character or will the producers go the Captain Marvel way and use old and unused footage of Stan ‘The Man’ Lee like they recently did.

After talking a lot about Avengers: Endgame and its long-lasting implications on the entirety of the Marvel Universe, Kevin Feige was thrown a curveball when asked about the future of the famous Stan Lee cameos in the MCU movies and he Kevin Feige replied in kind. What he had to say was something very interesting if you know how to read between the lines,. He said and we quote:

“We shot a couple of others, so we’re coming up on the last of them, yes.”.

We now know for a fact that there will be more Stan Lee cameos than we could have ever imagined. Marvel had already anticipated such a scenario and had pre-planned some shoots for Stan Lee.
