What You Never Saw in The New Endgame Trailer – Thanos’ Sneak Attack on Avengers HQ

With the new surprise Avengers: Endgame trailer hitting the internet last day, the fans are peeling off one layer of the trailer after another to find out all sorts of clues and plot references hidden beneath the footage. The trailer, as such, never reveals too much. As most of it is just old scenes from Marvel Cinematic Universe’s earliest superhero origin stories of Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man, there is not much to be analyzed and examined anyway.

But the Marvel fans are never the ones that can be fooled that easily. By now, the way Marvel presents its latest ventures has helped their fan base hone the art of reading between the lines. And they have done just that with the new Endgame trailer. What it has led to is one shocking revelation. Presenting – What you never saw in the new Endgame trailer – Thanos’ sneak attack on Avengers HQ!!!

What the new trailer does reveal in detail is that the heroes are somehow managing to cope up with the enormous loss they have just been inflicted with. Thanos’ victory in the Infinity War does not mean they are ready to let go of the fight. They still intend to trade fists with the guy who singlehandedly destroyed the Earth’s Mightiest heroes and win the bout against the guy who is now literally a God. It is a dangerous and perilous journey.

With the fate of the whole Marvel Universe in tow, they have all the more reason to fight back. But there will be repercussions for trying to tick off the evilest guy in the Universe. To make them pay for getting on his bad side, Thanos will personally order his army to take down the Avengers Headquarters on Earth.

The feeling of something being terribly wrong with the trailer was confirmed when it was later pointed out that the Avengers might have to come to a point where they are the last line of defense against the forces of Evil. This means that the Avengers, the Earth’s Mightiest heroes, might just have to consider the probability that they would be manning a final stand against Thanos and his army. And their Last Stand will take place at their Headquarters. Things just got a hell of a lot more interesting.

If you look closely at the trailer, many of the scenes show the Marvel characters in the Avengers Headquarters. Ant-Man could be seen talking to an unknown Marvel Superhero in the trailer. The scene where the God of Thunder, Thor, tries to intimidate Captain Marvel with his hammer (no pun intended), also happens in the same location.

In another scene, we see Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man jumping around a wreck of a building, with the debris mostly being office supplies. Then there is the LEGO toy line leaked images which confirm the same – the Avengers HQ will face a devastating surprise attack led by Thanos, the likes of which will lead to the destruction of the iconic MCU monument.

The Last Marvel movie to be released under the Disney banner is Captain Marvel. The movie is currently in theatres. The official film synopsis for the movie reads:

Captain Marvel is an extraterrestrial Kree warrior who finds herself caught in the middle of an intergalactic battle between her people and the Skrulls. With help from Nick Fury, Captain Marvel tries to uncover the secrets of her past while harnessing her special superpowers to end the war with the evil Skrulls.
