‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Concept Art Reveals Scrapped Captain America Cameo

I really think that it is not the right time to mess up with the minds of Marvel fans as things like these make them freak out as according to a recent Spider-Man: Homecoming Concept Art, it has been revealed that the idea of having a cameo of Captain America was in there but was scrapped later.

We all know that we are going to see Captain America for the very last time in next year’s ‘Avengers 4’ as it has been stated by Chris Evans himself through his official Twitter account that he is not going to play any role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after the release of Avengers 4.

He also stated that it was a quite a phenomenal journey and he is simply honored and happy that he got the chance to portray a character like Captain America on the big screen for such a long time.

There was a flood of tweets after that tweet by Evans and all the tweets had one thing in common and that is the love fans have in their hearts for Chris Evans and also the fact that they’re going to miss him in the MCU and will hold on to the memories till the day he decides to come back as it’s really hard to find someone doing a better job than him in the role of Captain America.

Marvel Studios have a really bad habit of cutting down scenes and cameos which has left fans with an unpleasant feeling. It has been revealed recently after the release of some concept arts by the artist of Marvel Studios, Peter Mitchell Rubin on the internet that the movie was to have a cameo of Captain America’s statue in the movie.

The picture is down below and you can have a look at it and scratch your heads as to why they didn’t show this little but an astonishing scene in the movie.

It hasn’t been explained by the artist, Ruben as where in the movie this statue scene was supposed to come but seeing the look in the concept art, we can clearly see that the scene is somewhere near the visit of Peter’s classmates to Washington, D.C. Maybe, the reason they didn’t put the scene in the movie is that Peter never hangs out with his classmates and was also busy saving the day as we saw in the movie later.

Although, we have seen Captain America in a lot of PSAs in the movie which was shown in Peter’s high school. But, having the statue of Captain America in the movie would’ve made the movie a lot tastier than it actually was. Also, some are suggesting that the reason for not showing Captain America’s statue is that we all know that he didn’t have great terms with the U.S. Government in the movie Civil War. Now this reason is enough to understand this omission.

With Avengers 4 coming up next year and also the latest trailer of Captain Marvel also making a lot of buzz on the internet, it seems like there are a lot of things coming up for Marvel fans and also as we all know that with the release of the movie Avengers 4, the Phase-3 of Marvel Cinematic Universe is going to end and with the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home, Phase 4 is going to start and there are a lot of hopes with Phase 4.

The movie Captain Marvel is going to release on March 8, 2019, Avengers 4 is going to be released on May 3, 2019, and Spider-Man: Far From Home is going to be released on July 5, 2019. So, for which movie you’re excited the most? Tell us in the comments section below.
