Ms. Marvel: All Actors And Characters Confirmed To Appear

Ms. Marvel is coming to Disney+ as a new Marvel series for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She is a part of what has been rumored to be the start of the introduction of the next generation of heroes to the MCU. This also includes Kate Bishop’s Hawkeye, America Chavez aka Miss America, and Wanda Maximoff’s twins from WandaVision.

Ms. Marvel is the first Disney+ series to focus on a lead character no one had met yet in the MCU. Kamala Khan will appear later on the big screen in Captain Marvel 2. Ms. Marvel will be the first chance for fans to know more about Marvel’s latest teenage hero. Marvel has recently posted an article announcing the new Disney+ show. It also included the cast for the series.

1. Rish Shah / Kamran

Rish Shah has joined the cast of Ms. Marvel to play the first Inhuman character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after the end of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Shah will portray the role of Kamran. It will be interesting to see how he plays into the series because in the comics, Kamala is an Inhuman. Shah, who was last seen in Netflix’s To All the Boys: Always and Forever, posted on Instagram about his arrival to Ms. Marvel. He also posted photos of his character, Kamran. Kamran is Kamala’s love interest and has the power to channel energy into objects.

2. Zenobia Shroff / Muneeba Khan

Marvel announced that Zenobia Shroff has joined the cast of Ms. Marvel. She is rumored to be playing the role of Kamala’s mother, Munbeeba Khan. This also resulted in some controversy that led to the starting of the #FixMsMarvel hashtag trend. The controversy surrounds the fact she is a non-Muslim Indian cast, Kamala’s Pakistani Muslim mother. Shroff is popular for her role on The Affair, where she portrayed Priya Ullah.

3. Laurel Marsden / Zoe Zimmer

Laurel Marsden will play the role of Zoe Zimmer. Zoe is a close friend of Kamala Khan at school and is one of her closest allies. In the comics, Zoe was a popular girl that wasn’t part of Kamala’s circle of friends. But after she saved her life, the two got to know each other and realized they were not so different. Their relationship was slightly strained in the comics because Zoe was worried about Kamala’s safety since Ms. Marvel and her heroics affected her friend’s safety.

4. Saagar Shaikh / Aamir Khan

Saagar Shaikh has joined the cast of Ms. Marvel. He is playing the role of Kamala’s brother Aamir Khan. Shaikh initially appeared in short films and a web series called Unfair & Ugly. The character, Aamir Khan, is a very protective older brother of Kamala Khan. He is not satisfied with the idea of teenage costumed vigilantes and often provides stress for Ms. Marvel at home.

5. Iman Vellani / Ms. Marvel

Newcomer Iman Vellani will play the role of Kamala Khan, Ms. Marvel, in the Disney+ series based on the character. Kamala is a 16-year-old Pakistani-American who lives in New Jersey with her family and loves superheroes, including Captain Marvel. When she learns she has superpowers, she sets out to emulate her heroes and becomes a great superhero in her own right. Iman Vellani will make her acting debut with Ms. Marvel.

6. Matt Lintz / Bruno Carrelli

Matt Lintz was seen as Henry in The Walking Dead, the adopted son of Carol, who ended up with his head on a pike. He has also joined the cast of Ms. Marvel. Bruno is one of Kamala Khan’s best friends in school. He is a young man with a genius-level IQ. Bruno is one of the few people in the world who knows that Kamala is the teenage vigilante Ms. Marvel. With his intellect, he helps Ms. Marvel with her activities and also covers for her with her parents.

7. Mohan Kapoor / Yusuf Khan

Indian actor Mohan Kapoor, who is popular for his roles in Bollywood movies from his native India, has been cast in Ms. Marvel. He is rumored to play the role of Yusuf Khan, Kamala’s father. If this is true, it will bring one of Ms. Marvel’s most colorful characters to the big screen with a popular Bollywood actor. Yusuf is a strict father. He rules with love, and later develops a heart condition that makes his well-being more important for Kamala than her life as a hero.

8. Aramis Knight / Red Dagger

Actor Aramis Knight is a part of Ms. Marvel cast. He announced on Instagram that he is playing the role of Red Dagger, a Pakistani vigilante. Knight was seen in the 2013 movie Ender’s Game. He was also one of the lead characters in the AMC series Into the Badlands, where he played M.K. In Marvel Comics, he lived with Kamala’s grandmother and protected Pakistani people as Red Dagger. He later came to the United States and lived with Kamala in an exchange student program.

It is also worth noting that Farhan Akhtar has reportedly been added to the series. But his character is not known yet. Hopefully, he’d end up playing another Inhuman. Ms. Marvel arrives later this year.
