Spider-Man is Back to the MCU With a New 7 Picture Deal

Spider-Man is Back to the MCU:

People have been pretty disappointed for the last couple of days since Sony and Disney had a fallout which resulted in Sony taking Spider-Man out of the MCU. Well, Sony have tried and failed with Spider-Man films before they had to sign a deal with Disney & Marvel so they could use the hero in a way that benefits both of them. Very recently looking at the profits that Spider-Man: Far From Home brought in for Sony due to the MCU branding, Disney wanted a 50-50 co-financing stake in the next Spider-Man film. Sony shut that offer down and the deal fell apart.

As a result of this, the internet exploded. The world wanted Spider-Man to be back to the MCU. Both Tom Holland and Zendaya stopped following Sony as they wanted to stay in the MCU. And now, a new rumor (take it as a grain of salt) coming from  Lords of the Long Box YouTube channel and Cosmic Book News further reported it. The report suggests that Spider-Man is coming back to Disney with a brand new deal, and it will be announced at the D23 Expo.

As per Cosmic Book News, these are the details of the new deal between Disney & Spider-Man:

Further details suggest that if Sony were to be bought by some other company like Apple or Comcast then the rights for Spider-Man would automatically revert back to Disney. Spider-Man is a major player and he could certainly help Disney go even further on their way to dominate the movie world as well as the streaming world. With Spider-Man content on their streaming service, Disney would even take down Netflix and become the supreme power they wish to be.

It’s good that Sony stood for themselves. But obviously, it would be good for them if they stayed in the good books of Disney because an allegiance with the number one movie making company would ultimately benefit them itself. Asking for 50-50 financing & profits was evil on the part of Disney but it could have been a tactic on their part so they could renegotiate for at least a 20-30% stake.

Spider-Man was on the Disney’s D23 Expo banner and Disney certainly wouldn’t have placed a banner if Spider-Man weren’t back with them. So, be very attentive and patient because Disney is going to make it big at D23. Spider-Man will be back home and hopefully, there aren’t any more setbacks. And obviously, there’s a chance that this rumor might not be true. So, sorry in advance if we got your hopes high. We’d feel the same as you would!
