Here’s When We Will See Avengers: Endgame Trailer 2 [Updated]

Avengers: Endgame Trailer 2:

It has been a while since we got the first Avengers: Endgame Trailer. The first trailer was surrounded by the massive hype that people have for the film and so it was viewed 289 Million times in the first 24 hours. But if you have to admit that there was not a lot to give away in the trailer. It only hinted at a few things here and there, but the footage was largely from the first 20-30 minutes of the film. It was a trailer for the sake of being a trailer, something that Marvel did to shush the audience for a while.

But that doesn’t mean that what was done with the trailer was bad. It was different, unique and dark. It hit us right where it hurts, putting the Decimation right in our faces! The footage was slow paced and it actually left us in so much doubt of what we know about the film. All that surmounted up to nothing! Well, we need something significantly big from the second trailer.

Kevin Feige was asked about the rumour whether the Endgame marketing will include footage only from the first 15-20 minutes at the Red Carpet of Golden Globes and he did confirm that to be more or less the truth. Now it may be a little disappointing when you think about it as fans because we could probably be looking at another trailer that is somewhere along the lines of the first trailer.

Or even an extension of the first trailer itself. But one thing we all have to agree upon is that the upcoming trailer has to be a little big on the action, or it at least has to give us some big epic moment to get the fans riled up wanting for more.

But the good thing about it all is that we will get to see more of the film in the theatres. The less footage we see in the trailers, the more we will get to watch in the movie ultimately. So we get rewarded really well for our patience. But it’s amazing to think about the Thug life that Marvel is living in right now. They know that we want to see this film anyhow, so they don’t need to stuff the turkey to lure us in for the Thanksgiving dinner, just the look of it will make them twice a Billion Dollars any way.

But still, they do have to give us the look and so a trailer or two may be coming our way real soon. If you check out the pattern of how Infinity War and Civil War marketed themselves, you’d see that we got the first trailer around the November end, December 1st week mark and then we got another TV Spot at Super Bowl. To follow that we got one last trailer around March (Civil War) or April (Infinity War) initiating the final marketing campaign for the films.

Now we would surely get a Super Bowl TV spot on February the 3rd, and for the Indians, it is going to be around February 4th early morning, but the question remains for when we get the second trailer. Disney usually gives us a 30 second TV spot for their Marvel movies at Super Bowl, so that as we expect would remain the same. There’s only so much that Marvel can show us in 30 seconds, and knowing what they are up to, they’d not give us a lot in the 30 seconds footage.

So it will all depend upon the second trailer for us. Logically the second trailer should arrive in mid-March but if we go by what Infinity War did, we’d actually get the second trailer mid-April. Disney has Captain Marvel coming out on March 8, so they could also release it right with their first MCU movie of the year, or they could even think of giving it with Dumbo, so more people go to see the cute Elephant in order to see the real Elephant in the room, i.e. Endgame.

The film releases on April 26.
