A Few Words About Rabindranath Tagore

Rabindranath Tagore (7th May 1861 – 7th August 1941), was a Bengali polymath, a poet, musician and artist hailing from the Indian Subcontinent. Tagore modified both Bengali literature and its music, alongwith Indian art with Contextual Modernism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Author of the “profoundly sensitive, fresh and beautiful verse” of Gitanjali, Tagore became in 1913 the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize in Literature Category.

Tagore’s poetic audio singles were perceived both spiritual and mercurial. But his “elegant prose and magical poetry” remain largely unknown outside Bengal. He is more often called as “the Bard of Bengal”. Tomorrow is  26th January, 2021 i.e. Republic Day.  India gained Independence from British on 15th August, 1947 and became a Republic in the Year: 1950.
