The movie is fairly black & white (literally & figuratively as some scenes in the past are supposed to be devoid of color), which might not bode well with the late politician’s critics. The more wholesome look at the life of Thackeray would have been ideal in the biopic. The roars of the tiger seemed to be unnecessary as Nawazuddin’s acting prowess is enough to leave you inspired by his character.
If you’re a fan of Thackeray, there’s no telling you twice whether to watch the film or not. The movie portrays Bal Thackeray as the tiger he was & you can relive the legendary leader’s legacy in his biopic. You must also catch Thackeray for the performance by Nawazuddin as it might be some of his best works yet.

If you know who he was, then you must go for it. It falls more on a biography side so don’t expect masala in it. Because that is not the purpose of the movie. In between it may lose a grip but that’s coz of script and direction and editing. Actors have given justice to their characters. Navazuddin is best. Cannot imagine anyone else playing the role anymore. Overall a great experience. #MarathiMansaJagaHo
