The Plot of the Movie
The film tells the story of one of the most dreaded black magicians in the world, Odiyan, who ruled the darkness of night during what was called the pre-electrification era in South-Indian State: Kerala.

Some Interesting Facts About the Movie
- Principal photography of the movie concluded on 25 August at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Mohanlal joined the sets for shooting on 28th of August. The other locations where film’s shooting was done are:

- Tazrak,
- Udumalaipettai,
- Pollachi,
- The 12 minutes long climax sequence took 25 days to complete its filming. The action choreography was done by Peter Hein.
- Film’s Final shooting schedule began in March 2018 with Mohanlal in the young look, which ended in late April.
