This show starts with two childhood friends named Mauli and Nandini who live in the city of Lucknow and are very close to each other. Now, this serial focuses on two couples, Nandini and Rajdeep, Kunal and Mauli. Kunal and Mauli are happily married for three years and are deeply in love with each other. They both support each other in every aspect of their lives and so they seem to be very happy with each other. Mauli is a gynecologist and Kunal is a pediatrician in this serial.
On the other hand, the things are completely different in Nandini’s case. Rajdeep and Nandini are married for seven years but Nandini is not very happy with her married life. Nandini has to go through domestic violence. Her husband Rajdeep is a very ambitious businessman who owns pathology labs. He is a very dominating husband and treats her wife very badly. He beats her, never leaves any chance to abuse her, both mentally and physically. Not only this but he also misbehaves with Nandini in front of other people also when he loses his control.
The serial also shows that the relation of Mauli and Nandini gets affected as Nandini chose Rajdeep over her friendship. Mauli had warned her about Rajdeep’s personality and character. So because of this, they have not spoken to each other since the past seven years. The interesting thing is that both, Nandini and Mauli live in the same city, Mumbai and neither of them are aware of this thing. Due to the past differences, Mauli does not talk to Nandini at all even after her husband, Kunal repeatedly asks her to do.
Well, the husband of Mauli, Kunal finally met Nandini for the first time when he saved her from a road accident. Kunal then gets to know about her husband and how he abuses her and treats her very badly. He also suggests Nandini stand against him and speak against this serious issue. Later the twist comes in the story when Kunal gets to know that she is the same Nandini which his wife keeps talking about. Then after knowing this, they decide to schedule a meeting and finally Nandini and Mauli meet after seven long years.
Nandini then shares everything with Mauli and Kunal about Rajdeep and she also revealed about her pregnancy. She tells them how Rajdeep left her in the middle of the road after getting to know that she was pregnant. This serial has gained a lot of popularity and is running very successfully on Colors. The serial involves elements of drama, emotions, twists, and chaos and the people are really loving its concept.
