Avengers: Infinity War – New TV Spot Shows Deadly Action Between Spider-Man And Thanos

Avengers: Infinity War is almost upon us, as it is just 9 days away. We are so close to the biggest Superhero ensemble that has ever happened on the big screen and there is no stopping this movie from going crazy at the box office and pleasing all the fans and the critics. It is the most anticipated movie of this year and it will be the beginning of the culmination of whatever has happened in the MCU till now.

It will be the greatest comic-book extravaganza featuring around 67 major characters, of which half of them are going to be Marvel superheroes. Never before has any studio attempted a comic-book movie on this scale and magnitude. It is truly unprecedented and will catapult to a whole new league. It broke the pre-sales record in just 6 hours. According to box-office trackers, we are looking at a massive opening weekend for the movie, somewhere in the ballpark of $200-250 million in the first 3 days of its release.

Marvel has been marketing the movie in full force releasing new clips, trailers, TV Spots, images, posters, promo arts, action figures, and merchandise. At the same time, they have been keeping things really close to the chest, which is why the grand premiere of the movie Avengers: Infinity War, has been set just 3 days before the worldwide release of the movie. Also, the embargo of the movie will lift on the same day, so that is probably when we will get a general consensus of this movie. Infact, even the actors have’nt been allowed to see the full movie. Marvel really knows how to handle this stuff.

Still every day, new TV Spots and teasers are released that more often than not contain seconds of new footage from Infinity War. Recently, two TV Spots came out that showed us a lot of new scenes from the movie. We got to see the Wakandans chanting right before the war. Bucky and Steve reunited. And most importantly, we saw Thanos having more than just 2 Infinity Stones on his Gauntlet, and the Soul Stone also made its first appearance.

Now, a new Chinese TV Spot has brought us a huge moment from the movie. While the spot mostly featured old scenes throughout its 30 seconds, it had something that we all would kill to see in the theatres. In the first trailer of Infinity War, we saw Thor hold Spidey from his neck, and smash him into the ground. Well, this new TV spot contains something which is probably before Thanos smashing Spider-Man. Have a look:

In this spot, we get a very quick shot of Spider-Man landing a kick in the Mad Titan’s face. The Web-Slinging kid does have some serious balls! Moreover, this split second scene looked pretty rad and it makes us wonder how this one on one battle would happen in the movie.

We will have to see how fatal things could become for Spider-Man in this one brawl! Interestingly, this very kick was taken straight out of the comics as well.

Infinity War is going to be a massive crossover event that we all have been waiting for. The job for bringing this huge movie to life has been given into the perfect hands of Anthony and Joe Russo. Here’s what they had to say about the movie:

“With “Infinity War,” the biggest new element to the movie is Thanos and the fact that he’s entering the storytelling in a very bold, strong way, to the degree that he’s almost one of the leads. We’ve shaped an interesting narrative around him that in some ways leans heavily on a heist film in the fact that he’s going after the infinity stones in a much bolder, successful way than he has in the past. The entire movie has that energy of the bad guy being one step ahead of the heroes. We looked at a lot of movies that had that heist-style energy to them, and that brought some inspiration.”

Avengers: Infinity War will be the longest movie of the MCU till now and it will obviously be having the most number of characters any movie has ever had. Throughout the movie, we are going to see characters clamoring with each other for screen time in the entire run of 2 Hours and 30 minutes. Joe Russo revealed the Avenger who will have the most screen time in Infinity War, and to our surprise, neither Cap nor Tony were the ones he mentioned.

According to him, along with Thanos, Thor will have the most screen time in the film. Here’s what he said:

“Interestingly enough, I’ll start out by saying Thanos, even though he’s not a character that had a huge preexisting story in the Marvel universe. He was a threat but he was not developed in any way up to this point. Thanos has an incredible amount of screen time in this film, in a lot of ways I would say it’s his movie. Our job when we make these films — and what we feel is important to us — is to surprise the audience. We wanted to tell a story that they weren’t expecting, and the story is told from the point of view of a villain, which I think is also really unique and risky for a commercial film that will surprise the audience. I think this is a market where the audience really enjoys innovation and disruption, and we want to do something innovative in this space. So I think Thanos has an incredible amount of screen time, and I think you’ll find that Thor has a really interesting arc in the film. He hasn’t been at the forefront of other Avengers movies but he certainly has a very important role in this film. So I’ll say, Thanos and Thor.”

Avengers: Infinity War will open on April 27. The movie is directed by Russo brothers and produced by Marvel Chief Kevin Feige with a whole host of executive producers namely Stan Lee, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Michael Grillo. The script is written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

The cast is simply mind-blowing as it features some of the biggest stars under single roof including Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Josh Brolin (Thanos), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Pratt (Star Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Sebastian Stan (Winter soldier), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr. Strange), Benedict Wong (Wong), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Bradley Cooper (Rocket Raccoon), Vin Diesel (Groot), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Jeremy Reiner (Hawkeye), Tom Holland (Spiderman), Letitia Wright (Shuri), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlett Witch), Karen Gillian (Nebula), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Dave Bautista (Drax), Paul Bettany (Vision).

The official movie synopsis is the following:

“Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. “As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain”.

“An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time.
