Logan: 5 Mind Blowing Easter Eggs From The Movie [Spoilers Ahead]

Since Logan is the final film of Wolverine, it’s not too surprising that the filmmakers have included a huge amount of easter eggs for fans. Here are five among a thousand that you should check out:

The Presence Of Dark Phoenix:

Fox gives a not so subtle hint to the next X-Men film, as comic book images of Dark Phoenix are being flipped through.Since X-Men supernova is set to adapt the Dark Phoenix, this little easter egg was not hard to decipher.

Wolverine’s Memorabilia:

In the home shared by Logan and Caliban, a samurai sword is seen hanging on the wall.A reference to The Wolverine where Logan had travelled to in The Wolverine and his general ties to the samurai culture.In another scene, Logan holds his dogtags, the ones he acquired from X-Men Origins:Wolverine before his bones were bonded with adamantium.

Art Imitates Life:

While Professor Xavier or Charles as he is called in the film uses the bathroom in a rest stop, Logan finds X-Men comicbooks that embellish his real life experiences with the team. Not too impressed, Logan leaves the store, but grabs some cigars. The signature look of his comic book [and movie]character.

The Presence Of Alkali Lake:

Alkali Lake has been featured numerous times in the X-Men franchise. It was the underground base where Wolverine was experimented on by Colonel Stryker and turned into Weapon X. In the film, Donald Pierce works for a company with the same name, with more links that may be too spoiler-ey to mention.

Laura Kinney is not the only test subject of Xander Rice. Other children are also tested on including Rictor, an original member of X-Force who could create earthquakes, Bobby who  possess the DNA of either Iceman (Bobby Drake) or Sunspot (Roberto “Bobby” da Costa)and Joey who may be he telekinetic nephew of Jean Grey.
