Spider-Man has always been a center of discussion when talking about his rogues. He has a huge list of rogues who have been a major part of his individual storylines. Since he has a long list of archenemies, nobody like Eddie Brock has challenged Spider-Man. Popularly dubbed as Venom or Venom Symbiote, Eddie Brock is a doppelganger of Spider-Man who dons a black suit and abilities like him. Today, we bring you five WTF moments of Venom you probably don’t know about him.
1. Venom saved homeless people
This was one of the strange turns in the history. During the 1990s, he was one of the most demanding characters in the comic book universe. In Marvel’s The Hunger miniseries, he teamed up with Spider-Man to save the underground city of homeless people.
2. He takes on Guardians of the Galaxy
The intergalactic guardian force was operating well until FlasH Thompson’s Venom was sent to join the team. One of the best things about Venom’s role was not to fight or battle the other aliens, but the time Venom Symbiote jumps on every Guardian and changes the whole game. Rocket Raccoon turns into a high-powered devil, which was just amazing.
3. Loses its hosts
Eddie Brock has the been known to carry the symbiote for years and we love him being the host of it, while other characters Mac Gargan and Flash Thompson held the symbiote for some time. In 2005, Marvel came up with a plan to reboot Venom, where the suit landed from Eddie Brock to mobster Don Fortunato, who gave it to Angelo Fortunato, which never bonded with him well.
4. Got attached to Deadpool
Well, most of the fans don’t know that Spider-Man was not the first host of Venom. It was Deadpool who with he bonded with for a short time during the Battleworld time. As soon as Wade Wilson realized that the venom symbiote was messing up with his mind, he then sent it back in prison.
5. Traveled through a phone line
Since most of the symbiotes are powerful, he possesses incredible superpowers and has the ability to steal the superpowers of the other superheroes. Moreover, he once traveled through a telephone wire and bonded with Eddie Brock’s ex-wife Anne Weying.
