Avengers Infinity War is expected to be a film like no other MCU or the superhero world has seen before. Gathering every important Marvel hero from Phase 1 and up, Marvel is pulling all the stops to ensure Phase 3 closes with a bang. Here are all the Marvel Characters that have been confirmed For Avengers Infinity War:
The Avengers
Since this is a movie about the Avengers, the original team of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye will be back to battle Thanos.It will be interesting to see the evolution the team will take, especially after the falling out they faced in Captain America: Civil War.
Scarlet Witch And Vision
Scarlet witch and Vision became a part of the Avengers team after Age Of Ultron. The duo will definitely be one to watch out for, as their burgeoning friendship has been anticipated to evolve into a romantic one, as per the comic books.
The Guardians Of The Galaxy
Since Thanos’ kin Gamora and Nebula are a part of the Guardians team, it’s not surprising to see the entire team be included in the upcoming movie. Thanos created havoc for the Guardians in their debut film, it would be awesome to see the team fight back.
Spider-Man
The latest Marvel addition has only been confirmed until recently, but it looks like Spider-Man will be using those spider webs to fight the mad Titan.The comics had shown a complicated relationship between Thanos and Spidey, so maybe that will be adapted into the film.
Doctor Strange
Doctor Strange has already proved himself to be a useful character, especially when it concerns with Marvel’s multiverse.The Sorcerer Supreme will definitely be needed especially since Thanos is after his Eye of Agamotto which is also the Mind stone.
Black Panther
Like Doctor Strange, Black Panther also has a history of being involved in mysticism. It also helps that the heroes home country Wakanda produce the most powerful metal in all of the Marvel-Viranium. That will come in handy when dealing with a powerful and mad king who is trying to destroy the universe.
Captain Marvel
Captain Marvel will make her debut in Infinity War. Marvel Studio boss Kevin Feige has already declared Marvel to be the most powerful superhero in Marvel Cinematic universe, a trait that will be useful for the biggest battle in MCU.
Winter Soldier
The last we saw of Winter Soldier, he was against the cryogenic stasis which was under the care of Wakanda. He is rumored to be in the Black Panther movie, so his plotline will definitely be another interesting one in Infinity War.
Ant-man
Ant-man is the only superhero who has made audiences laugh out loud due to his humourous antics. He is also in possession of a suit that can make him grow extra large or extra small which gives him access to Quantum Reality. A player to watch out for in Infinity War.
Nick Fury
Nick Fury has been a part of every Avengers movie so far, so its only fitting that he makes his return in an Avengers movie (the team which he also helped create).
Wong
Wong was a part of Doctor Strange, where he proved to be a treasure trove of knowledge. He also was one of the sanctums of Earth, and since Strange may be making multi-verse journeys, he would be a definite guardian for Earth.
Thanos
The character who started it all. From his first appearance, Thanos was teased as being a major player in the Marvel universe. His time will finally be revealed as he seeks the Infinity Stones to destroy half of the Marvel Universe.
