Batman is known to have the most technologically advanced gadgets to help him on his missions. But that does not mean there isn’t a bad egg or two because there are plenty. Here are the 5 worst ones:
Bat-USB-Stick
He is known to have an array of inventive toys lying around in his Bat-cave, some cooler than others. The Bat-USB-stick is not one of them. It’s not like it has a special function, just a USB stick with a Bat sign on it. Just a sign of too much money in the millionaire’s account that is used for something so stupid. That’s going too far, Bruce. Donate that money to Africa or something.
Bat-Female Villain Repellent
In the comic crossover Planetary/Batman: Night on Earth, Batman exists in different dimensions where the hero’s personality is different. But that does not excuse the fact that Batman has Bat-Female-Villain-Repellent. A gadget that may be the most sexist of all weapons in the Dark Knight’s weaponry, and just undermines how little he thinks of his female villains. Seduce them or just spray it in their faces the Batman logic.
Bat-Credit Card
In the movie Batman and Robin, Poison Ivy had drugged an entire room of men with a chemical pheromone that made them all besotted with the villain. The Caped Crusader and the Boy Wonder get into a bidding war to win a date with Ivy. And that’s when Batman takes out the Bat-Credit Card. A concept that is so hilarious, especially if you imagine the Dark Knight get a cup of coffee while looking out from Gotham and using the card cause he just didn’t have change.
Bat-Roller-skates
So Batman may have every kind of vehicle, from the Batmobile to the Bat-plane. But sometimes even the Dark Knight has to put aside his pride and put on a pair of roller-skates to catch a very fast moving bad guy. That seems logical enough until you see Batman and Robin cruising through the Gotham streets in skates. Hard to keep a hardcore facade.
The Bateye
Being the greatest detective that DC has ever seen, He has a lot of spy technology that he uses to spy on his suspects. The Bateye may be one of the more outrageous and worst spy technology Batman has possessed. He used it to follow Superman, who was very aware that a flying eyeball was following him. Spying it was not.
