5 Superhero Teams That Have Been Forgotten Today

From crossover events to individual superhero timelines, the superhero team-ups is not a new concept in the comic book world. Seven Soldiers of Victory and  Justice Society of America were in trend in the 1940s, but they were forgotten because there were no avid readers. Later on, several superhero teams turned up, some failed and some shined. So today, we bring you five forgotten superhero teams that we want to see them back.

Freedom Brigade

Freedom Brigade is one of the forgotten superhero teams of the 1940s. They were popularly known as the  Inferior Five’s parents and they were impressively intimidating. The team member included Princess Power, Mr. Might, Captain Swift, The Bowman, and The Mermaid. They appeared in DC’s Showcase #62 and #65. And they were the parodies of Green Arrow, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Superman, and Aquaman.

Young Gods

Young Gods first appeared in Thor Vol. 1, #203 in Sep 1972. They belonged to Marvel Comics Universe. The team consisted of twelve members, Harvest, Highnote, Mindsinger, Moonstalker, Bright Sword, Caduceus, Calculus, Daydreamer, Genii, Sea Witch, Splice, and Varua. They were selected from Earth’s Goddesses and their major pantheons.

Force of July

Created by Mike Barr and Jim Aparo, this DC superhero team first appeared in 1984’s Batman and the Outsiders Annual #1. The team member consisted of Lady Liberty, Major Victory, Mayflower, Silent Majority and Sparkler.

 Earth Force

Created by Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz, Earth Force first appeared in Thor (1st series) #395. It is a superhero team from Marvel comics force. The members included Earth Lord, Skyhawks and Wind Warrior. All of them were granted blessed with powers by Seth.

The Conglomerate

Created by Keith Giffen, J.M. DeMatteis, and Chris Sprouse, this DC superhero team first appeared in first appeared in Justice League Quarterly #1. The members included Jesse Quick, Nuklon, Gypsy, Vapor Templar, Echo, Booster Gold, Maxi-Man, Hardline, and Praxis.
