MCU has proved time and time again that it is an inter-connected world. This can prominently be seen in a number of appearances that every superhero has made in each other’s films.Some superheroes have made more appearances than others. Here are 5 of the most frequently featured superheroes in Marvel movies:
Black Widow- 5 Appearances:
Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson debuted in Iron Man 2. She joined super team The Avengers in Marvel’s The Avengers, showcasing more of her personality and her abilities to manipulate. She worked alongside Captain America in Captain America.The Winter Soldier and made a return with the Avengers in Avengers: Age Of Ultron. Black Widow made her last appearance in Captain America: Civil War where she played the middle ground of conflict between Team Iron Man and Team Captain America.
Captain America And Thor- 6 Appearances:
Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth made his debut in Thor. He joined Marvel’s superheroes when Loki started creating trouble on Earth and followed up with Thor: The Dark World. He then made an appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The Norse God also made a cameo in Doctor Strange, which tallies up to 6 appearances.
Captain America, played by Chris Evans also joins Thor in the 6 appearance spot in MCU. The hero made his debut with Captain America: The First Avenger then returned to Marvel’s The Avengers and the sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron. Most recently, Captain America fought his friend Iron Man in Captain America: Civil War. He also made a small cameo in Ant-Man and the recent Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Nick Fury- 7 Appearances:
Nick Fury has made a total of 7 appearances in Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fury played Samuel L. Jackson, was a major player in Phase 1, making an appearance in almost all of the Phase 1 films. He was in Iron Man and Iron Man 2 .He then appeared in Captain America: The First Avenger to welcome Steve Rogers to the 21st Century, and was a major player in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. He made an appearance in the post-credits scene of Thor, and lastly, he brought the Avengers together in Marvel’s The Avengers and the sequel The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Iron Man- 8 Appearances:
Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr. has been the oldest cast member in Marvel Cinematic Universe. He has made over 8 appearances in the span of eight years. He was in Iron Man, Iron Man 2, and Iron Man 3. He was also part of Marvel’s The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron. He then returned to challenge Captain America in Captain America: Civil War. Add in his cameo in The Incredible Hulk and the Spider-Man: Homecoming, the Iron Man tops the list as being the most frequently featured superhero.
