5 EPIC Comicbook Moments That Fans Are Hoping To See in Logan

Although Logan has technically finished shooting, only one-half of the movie’s story line has been confirmed. We know that The Old Man Logan comics have a big influence on the film, but to what extent has not been confirmed. The comics have some mind-blowing scenes that would look good adapted to the silver screen, so we have listed five scenes we hope to see in the film.

Wolverine Kills The X-Men:

In Old Man Logan, the world is placed in an alternate reality that sees Mysterio, the Spider-Man villain with the weird fishbowl head/helmet having a serious influence on Wolverine. As the villain is a master of illusion, he hypnotizes Logan into believing that all the X-Men are hostile invaders attacking the X-Men home base.  Logan ends up slaughtering the entire team in the most brutal fashion. After coming out of the hypnosis, the hero spirals into a deep depression that ends with him giving up the Wolverine title.

The Hulk’s Crazy Family:

Bruce Banner is one of the smartest characters in Marvel. The same goes for his first cousin, Jennifer Walters [She’s a lawyer]. But in Old Man Logan, they do the dumbest thing, getting involved in an incestuous relationship that results in some crazy offsprings. Their children have more incest ridden children amongst themselves and that’s what we get in this new world-Some hillbilly hicks with green skin and amazing strength. Bruce Banner also becomes a super villain in this new world who rules over HULKLAND. His grandchildren become money collectors for all the Hulkland citizens.

Wolverine Cuts Himself Out Of Hulk’s Stomach:

The most sordid scene in Old Man Logan has to be this one. Old Man Logan’s version of The Hulk is the largest that has ever been depicted, and the cruelest. Bruce Banner showcases an element of sadism we have never seen before see when he kills of Logan’s family for no other reason than being bored.  He does this while our hero was of town, so when he returned to a murdered family, the rage takes over Wolverine. He kills Hulk’s family out of revenge which culminates to a one on one fight between the two characters. The Hulk proceeds to swallow Wolverine after defeating him, forgetting that he can rejuvenate. Wolverine mauls himself out of Hulk’s stomach, leading to the most WTF moment of the comics.

Venom As A Dinosaur:

Another Spider-Man villain finds itself in the new, bonkers world of Old Man Logan, and in the most unexpected avatar that you can imagine. The Venom symbiote infuses itself with a dinosaur that was imported from the damn Savage Land, a tropical area in Antarctica surrounded by volcanos. Wolverine, who is past geezer stage and a blind Hawkeye fight the creature while driving around in a dune buggy with a mounted machine gun. Quite the scene that would make Logan all the more adventurous for viewers.

Moloids Sink Cities:

The Moloids are technically Fantastic Four villains but since Old Man Logan has been an amalgamation of every Marvel world joined in an alternate world, it should not be too surprising to see them in the comics. The Moloids are a subterranean race of mole people bent on conquering the surface. The world has a Moloid infestation, as the creatures have started to sink entire cities beneath the ground. Wolverine has an epic scene where he has to escape these creatures in the comics.
