10 Most Brutal And Violent Movies That You Will Regret Watching

Most people can’t digest the brutality and violence in the movies but some of us really do. So for those, here is the list of ten most brutal and violent movies that might take the shit out of you:

1) “Martyrs” (2008)

Martyrs is a French-Canadian drama horror film written and directed by Pascal Laugier.

The film is a story of about a young woman who tracks down the people responsible for torturing her as a young child. Throughout the course of the film, we see Lucie suffer gruesome hallucinations and self-mutilate due to past trauma, and witness the bloody massacre of a family of four – children included.

2) “Eden Lake” (2008)

Eden Lake is a 2008 British horror film written and directed by James Watkins.

It is a tale of two love birds on their trip to find tranquility in camping: but instead, it goes the other way around. A group of kids and teens start harassing them. It seems what kind of torture a group of kids can give to two adults, but these kids are not innocent as you think.

3) “The Human Centipede 2” (2011)

The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) is a 2011 Dutch black and white exploitation film written, directed, and co-produced by Dutch filmmaker Tom Six.

The first “The Human Centipede” was a young woman found herself sewn mouth-to-anus by a sadistic surgeon with two other victims. Every cloud has a silver lining. In “The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence)” we meet the same actress (Ashlynn Yennie), and from what we can judge she survived that ordeal with little permanent facial damage.

It was originally banned in many countries.

4) “Antichrist” (2009)

Antichrist is a 2009 Danish experimental horror film written and directed by Lars von Trier.

It tells the story of a couple who, after the death of their child, retreat to a cabin in the woods where the man experiences strange visions and the woman manifests increasingly violent sexual behavior and sadomasochism. The narrative is divided into a prolog, four chapters, and an epilog.

5) “Halloween” (2007)

Halloween is a 2007 American slasher film written, directed, and produced by Rob Zombie.

The world of Michael Myers had already been established, so seeing Zombie’s vision of it was interesting, to say the least. Everyone seems like they need to take a hot shower, and there are a few scenes that are so troubling and gratuitous, you feel bad even watching them. Even characters you dislike die in ways that almost make you pity them. I swear the scene in the woods where Michael kills his bully seems like it lasts for a week.

6) “Inside” (2007)

Inside is a 2007 French home invasion horror film directed by Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo.

It’s the story of a woman trying to take a pregnant woman’s baby by cutting it out of her with a knife.

7) “Cannibal Holocaust” (1980)

Cannibal Holocaust is a 1980 Italian cannibal exploitation horror film directed by Ruggero Deodato from a screenplay by Gianfranco Clerici.

The film tells the story of a missing documentary film crew who had gone to the Amazon to film cannibal tribes. A rescue mission, led by the New York University anthropologist Harold Monroe, recovers the film crew’s lost cans of film, which an American television station wishes to broadcast.

After its premiere in Italy, Ruggero Deodato was arrested and charged with making a snuff film due to rumors that claimed some actors were killed on camera.

8) “The Passion of the Christ” (2004)

The Passion of the Christ is a 2004 American epic drama directed by Mel Gibson.

The film covers the last 12 hours of Jesus’ life, beginning with the Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane, insomnia, and grievance of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and ending with a brief depiction of his resurrection. Flashbacks of Jesus as a child and as a young man with Mary his mother, giving the Sermon on the Mount, teaching the Twelve Apostles, and at the Last Supper are some of the most notable images depicted.

9) “High Tension” (2003)

High Tension is a 2003 French horror film directed by Alexandre Aja.

The twist is revealed and you spend any time at all thinking about it, everything totally falls apart. If the extreme violence doesn’t turn you off, you should watch it just for the absurd twist.

10) “A Serbian Film” (2010)

A Serbian Film (Serbian: Srpski film) is a controversial 2010 Serbian horror film.

It tells the story of a financially struggling porn star who agrees to participate in an “art film”, only to discover that he has been drafted into a snuff film with child rape and necrophilic themes.
