Making a sequel to a movie is not an easy task. The filmmakers have to undergo a lot of tension and pressure. They should create a movie which is better than the original or it should be at least a match to the original. But most of them turns out to be really bad movies lacking any of the qualities of its predecessor(s). We also know that there are a lot of unwanted franchises which are made for no reason. There are a lot of movies which really deserves a sequel. But sadly, none of the filmmakers are willing to give it a try. Here is the list of 3 movies which deserve a sequel.

Con Air

Con Air is directed by Simon West and was released in the year 1997. This movie is the directorial debut of Simon West. The star cast of the movie includes Nicolas Cage, John Cusack, and John Malkovich. The story plot revolves around the transfer of a group of prisoners in a prison flight and the happenings inside the flight. The movie received positive reviews and was a box-office success. A possible sequel titled as Convoy was rumored after the release of the film and the rumored film was about the transfer of a group of prisoners on a prison bus. But nothing regarding the sequel was heard later. The original movie has all the potential for a possible sequel and let’s hope that someday someone would seriously think about it.

True Lies

True Lies is directed by the master craftsman James Cameron and was released in the year 1994. The star cast of the movie includes Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jamie Lee Curtis, Tom Arnold and Bill Paxton. The movie tells the story of a man who is working as a secret agent performing deadly missions for the government. But in the eyes of his wife and daughter, he is a computer salesman. True Lies is considered as one of the best action movies ever made. The movie has both action and comedy in right proportions. The movie doesn’t end with leaving a scope for a possible sequel. But it would be absolutely thrilling and funny to watch the original characters once again in a follow-up movie.

Tango & Cash

Tango & Cash is directed by Andrei Konchalovsky and was released in the year 1989. But it is said that Andrei Konchalovsky was replaced by Albert Magnoli as the director but Magnoli remains uncredited. The star cast of the movie includes Sylvester Stallone, Kurt Russel, and Jack Palance. The movie tells the story of two reputed Los Angeles Police Officers. One night both of them meets at a place where a drug deal was reportedly said to happen and later gets trapped. The reviews were mostly negative, but the movie a huge box-office success. It is also one of the most underrated movies ever. The combo of Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russel in the movie was kick-ass and it would be really fascinating to see the duo in a follow-up movie. Even though both of them have become aged now, a sequel is still possible.
