8 Ways in which Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Part 1 is Underrated

Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Part 1 teaches us that sometimes we are left with no choice but to do the unexpected as a sacrifice to do what is right.

Here are a few things that the Deathly Hallows part 1 teaches us:

PRIORITIES can be different:

It teaches us that sometimes we are left with no choice but to do the unexpected as a sacrifice to do what is right.

Hermoine sure knew what was the right thing to do. She knew it was extremely important for Harry to be safe. That gives us a beautiful moment of true friendship that she sacrifices the memory of her own parents and spells *OBLIVIATE*.

That, surely wouldn’t have been easy to do. Certainly, that’s how it is a lesson.

It’s not always a CHOICE to be EVIL

The Malfoy family is certainly trapped with Voldemort. That is one thing anyone can easily identify, however, what’s to understand is that Lucius made a choice from the very beginning, to be evil.

Draco, on the other hand, had put a hand forward to Harry for friendship when they had first met, on their first day at Hogwarts. He did not choose to be the one to kill Dumbledore earlier or remain on Voldemort’s side later. He certainly had no option.

Draco teaches us that not everyone is born evil. Some are mercilessly shaped.

INTELLIGENCE is not always showcased

Ron teaches us that intelligence is not something that we must showcase. We can be intelligent even if we don’t show so. That isn’t gonna harm us.

Just as Harry is about to leave to search the Horcruxes all alone, Ron tells him in an extremely direct manner that it wasn’t the right time for it, that by doing so, they’d only he doing him (Voldemort) a favor.

Ron knows that it isn’t an ideal time and he says so. He isn’t a dumb fellow.

Friendship can also occur among blood relations

Just before the wedding of Bill Weasley, Harry and Ginny kiss wherein, George accidentally pops up there. The cliche that gets broken in an amazing way is that, instead of playing a weird elder brother, he gives a fun look to both of them, wishes them ‘Morning.’ And as Ginny leaves, he passes a smile to Harry too.

This shows that not everything is a cliche in this world.

Smart moves and the Deluminator of Dumbledore

Everyone has their own capabilities. This series has taught us how important and smart our teachers are. Dumbledore, though being the closest to Harry, knew what Ron was capable of. He knew the future happenings in a way or the other and thus presented with the Deluminator to Ron so he could unfold and explore the true meaning behind it.

Dumbledore leaves a great deal of confidence to him.

INSECURITY is also a part of being human

The trio being together for seven years is definitely a great deal. Even after which, it so happens that Ron gets a little suspicious about the time Harry & Hermoine spent together. So much so, that he was ready to question them all about it.

However, what’s interesting and enlightening is that even so, at the end of the day, he realizes his mistake, what they both meant to him and the trio ended up together.

It teaches us OPTIMISM.

Even though Luna is an example of it from the very beginning of her appearance but this one shows us how truly important and amazing it is to be a positive person.

Even when Dobby dies, she is able to find some reason to smile even then.

As Luna lets out the pretty words, saying,

*We should close his eyes. Don’t you think? ; There. Now he could be sleeping.*

This teaches us how to keep smiling for the ones who left us, who loved us.

Most important of all, it teaches us LOVE & FRIENDSHIP

There are numerous moments in the Deathly Hallows Part 1 where we realize that friendship & love are the most important and beautiful things in our life. They show us that sacrifices are never made for the ones we love. It’s the love that speaks.

As Hermoine & Ron are always sticking with Harry even if they have nothing to do with everything, they are ready to risk their lives each moment.

Ron comes back on one sound of Hermoine’s voice calling his name from the deluminator. The love is that powerful.

The visuals provide us a keen and unbreakable interest in the event. One where the curiosity remains instilled.
