The season 2 of ABC network “How To Get Away With Murder” came to an end and left us in utter shock and disbelief. The show has consistently lived upto its expectations of delivering an intense drama peppered with insane twists. Every time you feel that the show is dragging its feet, there is a brutal murder in the house and a blood splattered body is lying on the mat. But the real beauty is that almost all the major characters have mastered the art of covering their tracks and they are never prosecuted for the crimes they have committed.
In the episode, Charles Mahoney, the hedge fund manager who is also the father of Christophe/Wes is shot dead. Who Killed him? Guess…that’s a million dollar question. Following are the people who have committed murders but they have gotten away with it:
Frank:
In the last episode of season 2, it was revealed that he told Sam that it’s because of him that Analise lost her baby as he planted a bug in her house which helped Mahoney’s people to track her location. Sam instructed Frank to kill Laila as he owe it to him for keeping this a secret all this time. But he has totally got away with murder.
Asher Millstone:
His father committed suicide when a new investigation was opened against him by Justice department due to Emily Sinclair, so he crushed her in the parking lot, but Bonnie and Analise helped him cover his tracks and presented a chaotic murder scene where nothing is as it seems.
Bonnie:
Everyone thought that Rebecca (who was the prime suspect in Laila’s murder case) managed to flee the house, but Analise connected the dots and found out that it was Bonnie who killed her. When she confronted her, she said she did it to save her as Rebecca could have spilled the beans on their secret. She has gotten away with it as well.
Wes/Michaela/Connor/Laurel:
They accidentally killed Sam Keating when he attacked Rebecca, but Analize came back into her house after a brief stopover at Nate’s, found the body lying on the floor, asked Wes to burn the body and dump it. Till now, they have’nt been accused of the crime.
Caleb Hapstall:
In the Hapstall case, both Caleb and Catherine were accused of murdering their adopted parents and inherit their wealth, but soon the blame shifted to their half brother Philip Jessup as his DNA matches 99% with the crime scene. But it was revealed that it’s Caleb who actually killed the parents and the aunt but he got away with it, well he is dead too.
