Taking leave from home without breakfast is a Sin

Missing breakfast is just like a sin you knowingly do to your body! Breakfast is the fuel for your body to run the whole day. Assuming you can compensate for it at lunch is an illusion. This pattern must be altered because it will drain you of the essential nutrients your body is pining for.

Inclusion of a healthy diet in breakfast

Taking a breakfast for the sake of it, is a paradox. An unhealthy breakfast does not fit in the bill of a breakfast. The rule to follow is unambiguous, yet many fail to understand and incorporate it. As they say, “Eat like a King!” A protein rich diet of dairy products, green leafy vegetable and fibrous fruits  will keep you energized through the day and aid you to take more tasks in your stride.

Love your lunch 

For some students, lunch time can be as late as 5 p.m. in the evening. The common indulgence might be hogging onto junk food at the canteen, or eateries with buddies, but, that calls for a change. A homemade lunch rich in protein will  come to your rescue. As the axiom goes, eat like a prince. Remember lunch is a part of your three  meals  a day, skipping it would cost your body and brain! The body and brain would be void of essential sugars, nutrients and as a result, would function less effectively, consequently hindering your working and thinking capacity. Would you compromise that? Certainly not.

Embracing Exercise

Irrespective of the running , juggling societies and assignments, the body which remains exercise deficient is unhealthy. In fact the brain performs better when you exercise. The reason for this, is the increased oxygen supplied to it while you exercise.

Yoga-say Yes to it today

We excuse ourself for some extra minutes of sleep in the morning thus, underestimating and brushing aside a million dollar benefits of Yoga. You may have called it quits after school, when you have a class assembly ceremony.  In reality, the people who sacrificed that little sleep for yoga have experienced and undergone tremendous changes, personally and professionally. Think again before you whine in the morning when the phone’s alarm reads as Yoga time!

Stay hydrated through the day

This universal rule for all, speaks for itself. Keep the goal of gulping down 8-10 glasses of water and stick to it, irrespective of the toil your day demands.

Sleeping is your birthright

Do not under any circumstances, forgo your beauty sleep. for that. Do not stack up the assignments till the eleventh hour and overlook your sleeping pattern. A sleep of 7-8 hours is a must for all students. Nothing can make up for this time, as this is when the body recuperates and gathers its functions to work in sync with each other.
