One of the things that you can see, but can’t ignore, whenever you turn on a news channel (or Facebook), is the man with a ginger cat on his head: Donald Trump. While I’m unsure whether he is a serious politician or a funnyman playing some great practical joke on us- one thing is certain: his words are as gold as his hair.
Which is to say, not at all.
Here’s counting down six of the dumbest things we’ve heard from him:
Trump on vaccinations:
This is why doctors say you shouldn’t diagnose based on the internet … though where Trump gets his diagnostic knowledge from, we’re pretty unsure. It must be from a place of super secrecy- the exact place he’s getting money for to build the wall. Which brings us to the next point.
Trump on the wall
John Oliver is the funnyman Trump could refer to for formulating agendas because a comedian makes a much better argument than he, a presidential candidate ever could. Bring out the Perma Waffle Irons!
Trump on Ariana Huffington
At a time when the Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, comes out as a staunch feminist, Trump reinforces misogyny. Not only is he terribly derogatory, his remarks towards women prove how sexist he is. This remark is just one of the many instances of Trump’s sexism- check out his tweet on Bette Midler for further reference.
Trump on himself
“The beauty of me is that I am very rich.”
How we wish that was true. As Donald Trump’s daughter, Tiffany Trump said, at a time in the past decade, Donald Trump was so deeply in debt, that he pointed at a homeless person and said he had much more money than Trump did. That’s Trump and finances for you.
Trump on homosexuality.
“I have so many fabulous friends who happen to be gay, but I am a traditionalist.”
Almost a year after the US Legislation passed a billing making gay marriage legal in the USA, Donald Trump presents this stance on homosexuals- although what the stance is, much like all of Trump’s other ideas, we’re unsure.
