Several Reasons Why Conor McGregor Is a Bad Mofo

Conor Anthony McGregor  (born 14 July 1988) is an Irish mixed martial artis twho competes in the featherweight and lightweight divisions of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

He is the current UFC Featherweight Championand the former Cage Warriors featherweight and lightweight champion. As of 14 December 2015, he is No. 3 in the official UFC pound-for-pound rankings and ranked as the No. 1 featherweight and No. 3 pound-for-pound fighter in the world by Sherdog.

He is currently on a 15-fight win streak, 14 of which have not made it past the second round. If that isn’t impressive enough, here are several examples of why this guy is one of the baddest mofos on the planet.

On 12 December 2015, McGregor became the first Irish UFC champion when he knocked out then-No. 1 UFC pound-for-pound fighter José Aldo in 13 seconds, in what is the fastest championship victory in UFC history.

McGregor’s gift of the gab, pre-match predictions, and use of “psychological warfare” against his opponents has led some commentators and Dana White to compare him to Muhammad Ali

Here are some examples of his mouth  prior to his last fight. Normally, I personally don’t like guys who run their mouth, but  these show where his mind and passion are at.

He can obviously back it up as proven by this short clip of highlights.

Here is another list of accomplishments as determined by the Ultimate Fighting Championship

I have been a fan of MMA and the UFC since it’s inception. Though I’ve never been in a professional fight, I’ve been in my share of scraps and brawls. If you have had similar experiences, you know the rush of adrenaline that accompanies them.

These guys are prepared to fight in as little as two weeks if they have to, They train constantly, always trying to improve their fight game. Strikes, grappling, jiu jitsu, etc, All of these elements are combined in the effort to become an Ultimate Fighting Champion.

I have over 50 lbs on Conor McGregor, but I sure as hell wouldn’t get in the cage with him! Nothing but respect for this man and his fellow competitors. This man will be a force to be reckoned with for quite some time until he decides to retire, and even after that, he will be remembered as one of the baddest, most entertaining mofos in the history of the sport.
