Round 8 of the Barclays Premier League (Sunday)

Round 8 of the Barclays Premier League kicked off on Saturday, 03 October with seven cracking matches which included a couple of surprising results. 23 goals were scored in these seven fixtures.
Three games were scheduled for Sunday, 04 October, and all three were must watch games. Super Sunday kicked off with the Merseyside Derby, followed by Arsenal against Manchester United and Swansea hosting Tottenham.

Everton were enjoying a good run in the Premier League as they were held to a draw by their city rivals Liverpool at Goodison Park. A shocking game at Emirates saw Arsenal easing past Manchester United which saw them move up into second place, thanks to a superior goal difference. Tottenham visited Swansea and came back with a single point after a hard fought draw.
