4 Best Moments From Castle Season 8 Episode 3

First off let me just say I love the show Castle. It has been my inspiration and motivation many times. Season eight is just sensational, I loved the premiere and loved the second episode even more. After watching Castle Season 8 Episode 3 some moments in that episode just stuck with me, I had to talk about them. But first, let me acknowledge how well Alexis is taking up her new role in the show, she is becoming a young version Castle, I hope she gets her own show.
The Ghost

So this new character is just filled with curiosity. Beckett’s visit to her old friend in the park shades some needed direction in this new mystery in Beckett’s life. At first I was disappointed when they rekindled Beckett’s past with Senator Bracken, but when they widened the spread to the Attorney General’s office, things got better. This new case brings out a new side of Beckett, makes you wonder if the next episode she would become a vigilante going for rogue justice. I loved the new direction, taking us back to the beginning with the tip about drug money. Shall we follow the trail one more time?

The Cell

I must admit, the ending to episode two was quite traumatizing frankly, the way Richard and Beckett’s characters were developed, you wouldn’t expect that they would separate. Those two have through so much and the break up was just unexpected. My best moment in Castle Season 8 Episode 3 was the cell scene. I love that we see the love between them still alive. It was a very well thoughtful off scene that all Castle fans needed. And we also see the distinction between freedom and love in this scene, Castle is trapped and in doubt and we see Beckett being understanding and tries to explain herself despite her fir hand on things. I just loved that part.

Teenage make up

This scene basically got me laughing, two old cops trying to look young and integrate into college life, kind of like 21 Jump Street. The two guys go all out with clothes and bag packs, and despite their strenuous effort, their mark makes them in a second. It just goes to tell you that even though you might feel young inside, try and keep it there. But not only was I thrilled by their dress up, the way they try to talk young was just close to pathetic. I loved this scene, it was very well shown.

Citizen’s arrest

Normally Castle is the brain but never the brawn. But in this episode he goes all out in his quest to get Beckett back that he puts the handcuffs on a suspect himself and drags he to the police station. I bet when he brought her in he expected a parade in his name. This scene caught my attention because it tries to show how crazy people get when love comes knocking. It just goes to show how Castle has changed from his first seasons.
