A day after Kenny Dalglish’s 60th birthday, Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez and Netherlands international Dirk Kuyt ran the show as Liverpool beat their Manchester rivals 3-1. Kuyt became the first player since Peter Beardsley to score a hat-trick against United.
Norwich City at Carrow Road. Saturday, April 28, 2012. Norwich are set to face Liverpool who have their prolific attacker Luis Suarez starting and he does exactly what is asked of him by netting a treble as Liverpool come out with a comfortable 3-0 victory over the Canaries. This wasn’t going to be the last time Suarez would score a hat-trick against Norwich.
Thursday, February 07, 2013. An emotional moment for everyone related to the club as legend Jamie Carragher announces that he will retire at the end of the season.

Newcastle United at St. James’ Park. Saturday, April 27, 2013. Striker Luis Suarez is banned as Liverpool have a challenging match against Newcastle. Many believed that it would be a close contest, but even without their star striker, Liverpool managed to put 6 goals past The Magpies and get all three points. Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge bagged braces while Daniel Agger and Fabio Borini scored to decimate Newcastle 6-0 in their own backyard.
Norwich City at Anfield. Wednesday, December 04, 2013. Liverpool were having a very good season as they were in the top four and were competing for the title after 4 years. The Canaries were haunted by Luis Suarez yet again. The Uruguayan scored 4 goals, one of which was a 40 yard beauty, which took his personal goal tally against Noriwch to a staggering 11 in 4 games. At the end of the season, Liverpool finished second and Luis Suarez won the Golden Boot.
Thursday, January 01, 2015. Another emotional moment for the fans. The end of an era as Steven Gerrard announced that he will be leaving the club at the end of the season. He became only the third player ever to have 500 appearances for one club after Jamie Carragher and Ryan Giggs. The farewell games for Steven Gerrard ended in disappointment as Liverpool lost 1-3 to Crystal Palace at Anfield and then lost the final game of the season to Stoke. Gerrard scored, but Liverpool lost 6-1.
