- Vijay Barse, born in 1945, is a social worker from Nagpur, India.
- Barse laid the founding stone of Slum Soccer, an organisation with a motive to uplift underprivileged children through football.
- Before migrating into this field, Barse worked as a sports teacher in Hilsop College, Nagpur.
- Around 2001, an idea came into his mind to found the Slum Soccer organisation after spotting a couple of underprivileged children playing with a makeshift football, inspiring Barse to start a soccer club.
