- The movie was announced by helmer Halitha Shameem after rising to prominence in her debut film Poovarasam Peepee. The movie is made with the genre of anthology consisting of 4 different stories. The movie was scheduled to have its theatrical release in around 2018 but was postponed due to production delays.
- The official teaser of the movie was unveiled on 26 December 2018 by Vijay Sethupathi and Arya. The 2 minute teaser was released without any dialogues and received rave reviews from the audience.
