The Plot of the Movie
This is the story of Kathir who informs the police about an illegal gambling racket and the goons running it get arrested. Later, upon getting released, the goons decide to kill both Kathir and his family.

Some Interesting Facts About the Movie
- Escape Artists Motion Pictures signed a contract for the distribution rights for the flick across India. Kirumi was theatrically released on 24th of September 2015, coinciding with the Bakrid festival, alongside 5 small-budget films. The movie had its international premiere at the 19th Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival, the first Tamil film to be screened there.
- 90 percent of the movie was shot in Chennai whilst some shooting had taken place in Puducherry & Kovalam. In September 2014, Anucharan spoke with The New Indian Express & revealed that “now it has 6 six months and Kirumi is almost complete.”
