Marvel Comics is known to make crazy combinations of their superheroes. They have done it in the past so many times. In the Infinity Warps comic book story arc, the entire timeline is changed and the superheroes end up becoming amalgamations of original superheroes of Earth. But Marvel always likes to up the ante. They have done it this time as well. Just when we thought that this could not get any better, Marvel has done the unthinkable. Doctor Strange is now the new Iron Man of Marvel Comic Book Universe.

The Sorcerer Supreme lost the functionalities of his hands after he met with a terrible accident. The lucrative career of a top-notch surgeon went out of his hands and Stephen Strange, a once affluent medical expert ended up living on the streets. He was then exposed to magic and soon became the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth. Strange realized that there is more to life than just him-self and he decided to guard the planet of supernatural threats. Ever since he has never looked back.
But fate plays cruel games. Doctor Strange had found his calling as the Sorcerer Supreme. Now he has regained the use of his hands’ thanks to another freak accident. But an enchanted snake’s magical poison now courses through his veins. Strange had to do something otherwise he will soon die from the venom. In the 9th issue of Savage Avengers, Doctor Strange joins forces with Conan the Barbarian and Doctor Doom to fight Kulan Gath, another powerful mage who is looking for the Third Eye of Agamotto – a powerful artefact that can destroy the world.
Conan, Doom and Strange each fight Kulan Gath or his machinations. Conan slices off Kulan Gath’s hand which then is resurrected using magic and Conan is forced to slay that abomination while Doom and Strange take the fight directly to a one-handed Kulan Gath. The evil sorcerer manages to conjure a snake that attacks Doctor Strange and leaves him paralyzed. Doom calls upon a satellite launched missile system that shoots a projectile directly to his location.
But the missile is not a one that explodes. It is actually a container that contains the Iron Man suit. Doctor Doom wore the same Iron Man suit when he temporarily became Iron Man. Now that same suit is worn by Doctor Strange. The suit has life support systems that would help Doctor Strange deal with the poison and fight Kulan Gath on equal terms. The Iron Mage is here guys and he is here to stay. It is up to Kulan Gath now to make his next move in “The Quest to Kill Kulan Gath”. But what is irking us is the fact that what would this mean for the future of Doctor Strange in the Marvel Comic Book Universe? Will we be able to see such an instance like this in the movies as well?!
The Last Solo Marvel movie to be released under the Disney banner is Spider-Man: Far From Home. The movie is currently in theatres. The official film synopsis for the movie reads:
Peter Parker’s relaxing European vacation takes an unexpected turn when Nick Fury shows up in his hotel room to recruit him for a mission. The world is in danger as four massive elemental creatures — each representing Earth, air, water and fire — emerge from a hole torn in the universe. Parker soon finds himself donning the Spider-Man suit to help Fury and fellow superhero Mysterio stop the evil entities from wreaking havoc across the continent.
Avengers: Endgame released on the 26th of April, 2019. The official film synopsis of the movie has been released and it states:
“After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.”
