Major Captain America Character Set to Return in Falcon And The Winter Soldier
Captain America Return in Falcon And The Winter Soldier:
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is made up of several sub-franchises. There is the Thor trilogy. There is the Spiderman franchise with Homecoming and Far From Home. There are Guardians of the Galaxy and the Iron Man franchise. And then there is the Captain America franchise. Many times, the supporting characters of these franchises are lost to the sands of time, Marvel Studio having used them only for a film or two before they are lost for good. Lucky for this major Captain America character, Marvel had some other plans. The character we are talking about played a huge role in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but then the audiences, as well as the studio, forgot about it all. It is the season of grand returns!!
Emily VanCamp, who played Sharon Carter in The Winter Soldier, is supposedly returning to reprise her role in the new Disney+ TV Series titled Falcon and the Winter Soldier. New set photos from the shows shooting revealed she was present on the set. Disney+ will expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the small screen segment, chief amongst them being the Loki, Falcon and the Winder Soldier and WandaVision, which are the flagship series of the Disney+ shows.
Falcon and the Winder Soldier will deal with the crime and espionage segment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sharon Carter’s presence only adds more of the same element to the series since she is a master spy and espionage expert working for Shield. Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan come back to play the falcon and the Winter Soldier respectively for the show. They are well-known figures in the inner circles of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and have already been featured in various movies. Baron Zemo (played by Daniel Bruhl) from Captain America: Civil War, is coming back to play the big bad wolf for the show. Falcon and Bucky will have to deal with new threats as Captain America no longer exists and the world is ready to tear itself apart when it realizes that the Avengers no longer possess any leadership anymore.
More vivid details regarding the possible storyline for Falcon and the Winter Soldier have been very scarce. Director Kari Skogland, who had ensured all the members of the cast and crew remained tight-lipped, can no longer keep prying eyes at bay as shooting moves to more public locations with a lot of paparazzi in tow. New images show Falcon and Bucky tasting as well as making the enemy taste dirt with Baron Zemo in the background. Sharon Carter could also be seen in one of the pictures taken while shooting was taking place.
These are the images from the sets of Falcon and the Winter Soldier that we are talking about:
It is good to see Sharon Carter, who was last seen in Captain America: Civil War, make her return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The character has a lot of untapped potentials and Emily VanCamp is sure to rock it in the show. Let us hope for the best.
The Last Solo Marvel movie to be released under the Disney banner is Spider-Man: Far From Home. The movie is currently in theatres. The official film synopsis for the movie reads:

The world is in danger as four massive elemental creatures — each representing Earth, air, water and fire — emerge from a hole torn in the universe. Parker soon finds himself donning the Spider-Man suit to help Fury and fellow superhero Mysterio stop the evil entities from wreaking havoc across the continent.
