Avengers: Endgame TV Spot –
There is an old saying, “Something good never lasts forever”. Nothing could be truer if you are a Marvel fan looking forward to the upcoming Avengers: Endgame movie. The heroes we love and adore are going to battle the biggest and meanest S.O.B out there. And for many of them, this will probably be their last rodeo. If Thanos does not kill them first, the end of the respective actors’ contracts with the Marvel Studios will certainly spell their doom.
The hero that is most under threat is Captain America, who everyone believes will die a hero’s death and his death will rally the rest of the Avengers to finally out an end to the Mad Titan’s tyranny. While we keep biting our nails as to how Captain America will be let go, a new Avengers: Endgame TV Spot might already have revealed the answer to that dreaded question. Presenting – New Endgame TV Spot reveals end of Captain America’s Journey in the MCU!!
The Official Endgame trailer itself gave us subtle hints. Showing Captain America’s journey so far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with all the scenes that contained any heartfelt Captain America moments being shown in full vigor certainly put off some red flags in the fans’ minds. As of now, Marvel Studios have stopped hiding the fact that the next Avengers flick will probably be Chris Evans’ last picnic with the rest of the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
In an interview at a press conference this month, Chris Evans was quoted as saying that Avengers: Endgame will see the “completion of the arc” of Captain America. Before he could add anything further and spoil the plot, Joe Russo, Co-Director of Infinity War and Endgame, stopped him midway. Marvel may still be trying hard to hide whether Captain America actually leaves the MCU or stays back to aid it in future endeavors. But if you ask us, our bet is on the former.
The new TV Spot trailer also adds fuel to the fire:
One more hint that Captain America is leaving the MCU was when Chris Evans shared a heartfelt message thanking all his fans for all the love and support he received during his tenure as Captain America. That was in October last year. Later, he clarified that he would have shared that message no matter his fate in the future of the MCU. What he meant by that was whether he would have departed or stayed along for the ride, that message was just a token of gratitude for the fans. This obviously left the fans confused and disoriented.
Then there is also the issue of the end of the contract that Chris Evans signed with Marvel Studios. That stood for six films. Avengers: Endgame is the last movie he could star as Captain America as per the contract. Joe Russo did try to sow seeds of confusion last year when he claimed that Chris Evans and Captain America are still “not done yet” with the MCU. While the Studio is trying hard to ensure the fate of Captain America stays hidden, all it is doing right now is making the fans even more confused than they already were.
The Last Marvel movie to be released under the Disney banner is Captain Marvel. The movie is currently in theatres. The official film synopsis for the movie reads:
Captain Marvel is an extraterrestrial Kree warrior who finds herself caught in the middle of an intergalactic battle between her people and the Skrulls. Living on Earth in 1995, she keeps having recurring memories of another life as U.S. Air Force pilot Carol Danvers. With help from Nick Fury, Captain Marvel tries to uncover the secrets of her past while harnessing her special superpowers to end the war with the evil Skrulls.
Avengers: Endgame is set for release on 26th April 2019. The official film synopsis of the movie has been recently released and it states:
“After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.”
