“Year One is one of the many comic books that I love. We are definitely not doing Year One, We’re doing a story that is definitively Batman though, and trying to tell a story that’s emotional—and yet is really about him being the world’s greatest detective and all the things that for me, since I was a kid, made me love Batman.”

Also, reports from The Hollywood Reporter hint towards the possibilities that the filming of the movie is going to kick-start from this November. A reporter of THR suggested,

“The script is basically in, although Reeves will continue tweaking it and working on it. And I’m hearing the studio wants to start shooting in November. So let’s say between now and then?”
