Synopsis Of The Movie
The movie is loosely based on the life of late actor Kalabhavan Mani. Rajamani, an autorichshaw driver from chalakudy, makes it big in Malayalam and Tamil cinema but soon falls prey to his vices.
The movie actually, is about the rise and fall of Rajamani who is an autorickshaw driver from Chalakudy who makes it big in Malayalam & Tamil cinema before he falls prey to his vices.
Without much mudslinging, blaming or shaming, the director has attempted at answering the many mysteries surrounding Mani’s death since his life was but an open book to those of Chalakudy. The movie is tastefully subtle and has a unique nasal voice & Thrissur slang.
Rajamani looks, sounds & even laughs like Kalabhavan Mani by no accident. His craft is evident from the very first frame that he appears in and is consistent in staying in character for the length of the movie.
