About the Movie
Sillunu Oru Kaadhal is an Indian Tamil language romantic film from the year 2006, which is written and directed by John E. and N. Krishna respectively while it is produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja under the production banners of Studio Green.
This film features Suriya, Jyothika, Bhumika Chawla, Shriya Sharma and Sukanya in the lead roles. Also, it features music that is composed by A. R. Rahman. Cinematography and editing of the film are managed by R. D. Rajasekhar and Anthony respectively.
The film Sillunu Oru Kaadhal got released on 8th September 2006 with 175 minutes of running time, just three days before the Suriya and Jyothika’s wedding. The film got really good responses and was later dubbed in other languages like in Telugu as Nuvvu Nenu Prema and in Hindi as Mohabbat Ke Dushman under Goldmines Telefilms Pvt. Ltd.

About the Songs
The album of the film has seven songs in total and was released on 2nd August 2006 under the banners of K. M. Musiq, StarMusic and Aditya Music in two languages Tamil and Telugu. All the songs from the film are composed by A. R. Rahman and the Tamil lyrics are written by Valli while Telugu lyrics are written by Veturi Sundararama Murthy.
