Mauli is an Indian Marathi language film directed by Aditya Sarpotdar which features Riteish Deshmukh and Saiyami Kher in the major roles. The film has been produced by Genelia Deshmukh under the name of Mumbai Film Company and Hindustan Talkies and is distributed by Jio Studios.
The music of the film has been composed by Ajay- Atul and the cinematography was handled by Amalendu Choudhary. Initially, the film was supposed to be released on 21st December 2018, but now it is going to be released on 14th December to avoid the clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Zero’. The budget for this film is Rs 10 crore.
With this film, the successful actor Riteish Deshmukh is going to make his appearance for the second time in the Marathi flicks. He made his debut with the film ‘Lal Bhaari’ which received immense praise from the audiences and the critics and also went on to be one of the highest grossing Marathi films.
