Dhadak is a Bollywood film directed by Shashank Khaitan which features Jahnvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khattar and Aditya Kumar in the major roles. The film is the debut film of both, Ishaan Khattar who is the brother of Shahid Kapoor and Jahnvi Kapoor who is the daughter of Boney Kapoor and Sridevi.
This film is also a remake of a Marathi film named Sairat which went on to be extremely successful at the box office and earned more than 100 crores. The film was released on 20 July 2018.
Dhadak was also one of the most awaited films of this year and the chemistry of Ishaan Khattar and Jahnvi Kapoor seems to be really amazing in the film. The film has been produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banner Zee Studios and Dharma Productions and its runtime is 138 minutes.
Talking more about the film, it is based on the story of Madhu and Parthavi who fall in love with each other but face difficulties and opposition from their families. This happens because of their differing social status.
They both then decide to run away and get married but it doesn’t seem to be that easy for them. The film involves elements of drama, crime, emotions, romance, and chaos and was well received by Bollywood fans.
The acting of both the lead stars has been amazing in the film and they truly won the hearts of many Bollywood fans. The on-screen presence of both, Jahnvi and Ishaan has been exceptional in the film and they were truly a treat to watch.
Their Jodi was really loved by the audiences and received a lot of praise. The film received an overall positive response from the audiences and the critics and went on to be a commercial success.
