The Descent Movie Download In Tamil – The Descent is a 2005 horror movie written & directed by Neil Marshall. The movie follows 6 women who enter a cave system and struggle to survive against the creatures inside. The Filming of the movie took place in the United Kingdom while the exterior scenes were shot at Ashridge Park, Hertfordshire & also in Scotland.
Since it was too dangerous & time-consuming to shoot the movie in an actual cave, the interior scenes for the movie were filmed on sets which were built at Pinewood Studios near London which were designed by Simon Bowles. The Descent was premiered in the 2006 Sundance Film Festival & got released on 4 August 2006 in the US. The movie received critical acclaim & was a box-office success. It grossed $57.1 million against the budget of £3.5 million.
The sequel of the movie, The Descent Part 2 was directed by the first movie’s film editor Jon Harris and was released in the year 2009. The movie was released on DVD as well as on Blu-ray on December 26, 2006.

In the UK releases of the movie, Sarah wakes up in the cave after she sees Juno, revealing that she was dreaming the escape. After that, she sees a vision of Jessica’s birthday cake where she sees her sitting across from her, which is just her torch. The camera then slowly backs out as the crawlers are heard closing in on Sarah as the film cuts to the credits.
This part of the movie ending was cut out since it was considered too dark for the audiences in the US.
Synopsis Of the Movie
A year after a severe emotional trauma, Sarah (Shauna Macdonald) goes to North Carolina to spend some time exploring caves with her friends; after descending underground, the women find strange cave paintings and evidence of an earlier expedition, then learn they are not alone: Underground predators inhabit the crevasses, and they have a taste for human flesh.
